Pouya Ehsaei is a musician, composer and producer. His experimental electronic music draws from various genres such as breakbeat, jazz, hip-hop, Afro-Cuban, techno and Iranian folk music. It thrives in the underground as well as on prestigious venues such as the Barbican Center or the Royal Albert Hall. For this concert, Ehsaei shares the stage with multi-instrumentalist and singer Golnar Shahyar and clarinettist Mona Matbou Riahi.

Marjan Farsad's surprising and colourful animations and melodies are of a penetrating beauty. The Tehran-born singer-songwriter, illustrator, animator and activist writes, composes and draws far away from her homeland and surrounds herself with kindred spirits for the concert. Throughout her lyrics echoes the longing for freedom and for contact with her loved ones in Iran. For the concert, Marjan draws on her new EP Be Yadam as well as on two albums she produced herself: White Tree and Blue Flowers.
